AltosUI is the mobile ground station software designed for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch to support Altus Metrum's full radio telemetry product line.
When paired with the TeleBT v4 ground station hardware, AltosUI can efficiently receive, display, and log all telemetry data from the Altus Metrum flight computer installed in your high-powered rocket.
Key features of AltosUI include:
- Wireless connectivity to TeleBT v4 ground station hardware via Bluetooth LE
- Comprehensive telemetry logging capability stored on device files
- Telemetry file access through "Files application" and "iTunes Document sharing"
- Text-to-speech functionality for real-time rocket status updates during flight
- Vocal guidance for post-flight rocket retrieval
- Customizable ground station frequency selection to suit your airframe
- Map view displaying airframe location using online or offline map data for situations with limited connectivity
- Bearing, elevation, and distance data relative to the mobile device, not launch pad
